"The option of freezing the line of combat contact is unacceptable for Russia." - Peskov. He added that the conditions formulated by Putin continue to be relevant and they are the ones that need to be met to stop the war. By the way, one of the factors why Russia wants to

Saint Javelin Columbus Blue Jackets Washington Capitals Imperialism is an integral part of Russian heritage; it is the basis of their entire country and culture, and appears to be their sole unifying national obsession. Surely they're going to celebrate that, right? cepa.org/article/putins…

Shocking statistic by General Sir Jim Hockenhull - a top British commander: There are more Ukrainian amputees as a result of Russia’s war “than there are service personnel in the British Army”. The general is giving a speech at RUSI

I do hope European leaders understand what is happening here. Trump and Putin are carving up Ukraine and making fundamental decisions on the future of Europe--and not a single European leader is taking part in the call.

Underestimating Ukraine is the most consistent and ongoing US foreign policy failure. Imagine if the US would have just given Ukraine everything they asked for on day one. This war would've been over 3 years ago, and the US would have the strongest most bad-ass ally for life.
