On this day last year, we finished #harvest22. This year we haven’t harvested a single hectare of wheat (prioritising other, more weather vulnerable crops). Grateful for a fantastic, flexible team, capacity to dry grain and reliable equipment to go when the weather allows.

We talk a lot about health and safety in farming. Every day I measure my HRV or heart rate variability. I use it as a measure of tiredness + my ability to cope with pressure. Last Saturday was really wet, but we’ve had a really busy week since. Graphs speak for themselves.
