So I've finally finished the 1st vol. of the revised edition and has started the flashback! It's been fun doing the comparison & translation while reading so far even though it slows down my reading a looooot. Can't wait to learn what mxtx has in store for us👀

Another interesting change: Xie Lian was petrified and couldn’t speak in the original, while in the revision his body lost strength and had to be held up by Hua Cheng, and he could still speak, making the whole scene even more angsty🥲
