Post Office pays £256.9m to law firms in relation to Horizon IT scandal. Despite sending innocent postmasters to prison, lawyers are quids in. Directors, lawyers, auditors, accountants, advisers all conspired. None charged/prosecuted. Will they ever be? theguardian.com/uk-news/articl…

Today's price cap announcement means a 10% increase in energy prices. It's not right that people are subjected to a rollercoaster of prices changing every three months when what they need is long term energy security.

You would think that as an MP or indeed the Leader of a council, you’d go out of your way to make sure your properties were in the best condition. Not Jas Athwal. But he’s part of Starmer’s project so unlikely to face any consequences bbc.com/news/articles/…

When Israel is carrying out a genocidal assault in Gaza, we shouldn't just ban a small fraction of arms licences to Israel. This ban still allows the UK to sell parts for F-35 fighter jets, known as "the most lethal" in the world. The government needs to ban ALL arms sales.

30 out of 350 arms licenses. Gives a whole new meaning to gesture politics. This will do nothing to stop Israel’s efforts to ethnically cleanse Palestinians and make Gaza and the West Bank inhabitable

Jas Athwal - a rogue landlord - still has the Labour whip, while those Labour MPs who voted to end the two-child benefit cap don’t.

Royal Mail could be allowed to end second class letters delivery on Saturdays. 1st class stamp now £1.35; 2nd class 85p. Privatised 2013: 1st class 60p; 2nd class 50p. 70%-125% price rise for worse service. Privatisation = higher prices, lower service. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Blair is speaking, as he increasingly does, irresponsibly & without understanding. Grenfell was not the result of 'mistakes', but fraud by manufacturers, complicity by testing bodies, dereliction of safety duty by architects & construction companies, and inaction by politicians.
