With strikes on the horizon, here's a bit of context on what's been happening to average nurse pay in England. Since 2010, nurses' pay (the purple line) has lagged behind inflation, and behind average pay growth in both the public and private sectors.

Since when were DHSC a mouth piece for Tory party propaganda? 🤯 Nurses have lost over 30% of their salary in real terms since 2010. But our stance on pay is in direct relation to loss of staff and the impact on patient safety - something you’d think DHSC should care about 🤔

If only there was some way to work out what the root cause of the NHS crisis is.
