Today survivors of #torture and families of people forcibly disappeared in #Syria demanded an end to the ongoing torture of detainees in Assad’s jails. They stood outside the International Court of Justice in the Hague where a case against the Syrian regime opens #Torturechamber

1/4 Syrian families, united by the fight for their forcibly disappeared loved ones and the resilience of survivors, gathered outside the Peace Palace. They came together on this day as the International Court of Justice commenced proceedings against the Assad Regime.

From sunrise to sunset, survivors of torture in Syria, victims associations and families of detainees showed their love❤️today. Now the world must stand with them & guarantee the Syrian regime complies with any measures set by the Int. Court of Justice to stop torture in #Syria
