PIVOTAL DISCUSSIONS – Namibia Fact Check editor & project coordinator Frederico Links spoke on two panels this morning at the 'Lessons from collaboration: Reflections on safeguarding information integrity during elections' conference in Nairobi, Kenya.

The conference is hosted by Africa Check, and brings together fact checkers that worked around elections across multiple countries on the continent ahead of, during and after elections in 2024.

Africa Check Namibia Fact Check editor Frederico Links first spoke on the panel titled 'Fact checking in action – Insights from the electoral period', and then on the panel 'The role of media & fact-checking collaboration in elections'.
