How Stargaze's 1-click to buy (NFT checkout) works:

1. Stargaze API finds the deepest liquidity across all IBC chains
2. Skip API finds the optimal route to swap assets
3. IBC Hooks calls a special 'buy_for' CosmWasm function on Stargaze Marketplace

Who can give me access to an archive node for Osmosis 🧪 so I can keep working on indexing that chain with Constellations? It’s almost there.

I only need to fetch blocks once. RT appreciated. cc Sunny Aggarwal 🧪 ₿

Y'all are out here droning on about chain abstraction but I bought a CelestineSloths over the weekend with *one click* on Stargaze ✨ | $STARS using my $ATOM on the Cosmos Hub ⚛️ crossing three chains via @ibcprotocol with an Osmosis 🧪 swap between.

One click. Smooth AF.

Ran Constellations on Celestia, indexing took 5h (20k events/sec). That’s 11M blocks, 14M transactions, 17M messages, and 335M events. That includes Celestia specific messages like `celestia.blob.v1.MsgPayForBlobs`

Anyone interested? Nick White 🤳✨

Constellations for dYdX has 2.1 billion events. Time to refactor my code I guess…

Enormous gratitude to the Stargaze ✨ | $STARS team for hitting out of the park on the merkle white list feature.

It lets you do super cool community formation events.

I’m sure CelestineSloths are just the beginning

The first Stargaze mint with $TIA is live. Also the first time using a Merkle whitelist to enable all 400,000 TIA stakers to participate. So head on over Celestia fam.

Also, who knows why its a sloth?

Some days ago, reacting to the xz crack, I insisted that autotools must die.

I have suspended other work to make that happen. My next deliverable is a pair of tools and a HOWTO that will make it relatively easy for projects to de-autoconfiscate themselves.

Watch this space.

Has anyone a contact for a US immigration lawyer for O-1 / EB-1 visas? Thinking if I should move away from France.

Something I wrote in Nov ’20: “I expect Trump to run for re-election in 2024.” That was easy.

If you're an actual user, a highly optimized frontend using a fast indexer is much more important to UX than any chain-level optimizations like parallel txns or optimistic execution.

The quality of Rust Nation UK 🦀 speakers and talks is impressive. Really enjoying watching them at youtube.com/@rustnationuk Kinda sad I missed those.

My life is all about multi tasking, fetching some chain blocks, deploying new code + new database, compiling docker images. Magnet is nice to put terminals all around

Always loved AASM for Ruby state machine, but encoding the state in Rust types to add specific methods for specific states, making sure it’s properly used is nice to see.
