⁦F3QSource⁩ Q2.2 #Influence Personal gripe: young people who overuse the word “sorry.” “Actions speak louder than words” is true at any age. However old you are, if you say sorry for your behavior but don’t do anything to change it, your sorry’s mean nothing.

⁦F3QSource⁩ Q2.3 #Missionality Don’t lose sight of the Mission. The best way to do that is to continuously run everything you do through the Mission.

⁦F3QSource⁩ Q2.3 #Missionality Your Mission should include helping others. If it’s for you only, then you’re not contributing to your community. Who are you going to serve? (For me, it’s young people.)

I can’t think of many organizations that would benefit more from new ownership than the White Sox, but no, let’s still push it out 4 or so years. It’s not like they set a record for losses or anything.

⁦F3QSource⁩ Q2.3 #Missionality I told someone earlier this week “no” when they asked me to help at church…& I didn’t feel bad about it. It wasn’t something I’d enjoy & it would take me away from what I needed to do. Say no to the things that aren’t on Mission for you.

⁦F3QSource⁩ Q2.5 #Accountability God set up guidelines & expectations for us, but He never promised the race itself would be simple. I just passed my 26th anniversary w/ my M, & life is still work. But by setting up Guardrails in place then, we’re thriving now.

⁦F3QSource⁩ Q2.6 #Correction In order to do what James says here, you have to have a relationship with the other person. Otherwise, you won’t be able to convince them they’re wrong & you’ll probably come off as a jerk. Make relationships & get to know people.
