One of the most challenging areas in Segagaga for English speakers is the game dev area (“SIMEVT”). Tons of menus, sub-menus, plus notifications happening. Spending a lot of time debugging this one… …but it’s finally starting to make sense.

Segagaga has a reputation in the West for being a game full of SEGA references, but there’s a lot more to it than that. The game has a lot to say on the nature of game development itself, and its views on it are more relevant than ever in 2025.
