Had a great time learning survey techniques for #fieldvoles. As with many surveys it does include a great deal of searching for poo! Field voles are an important food source for many animals incl barn owl & pine marten & of course an important species in their own right #Exmoor

2/3...large parts of the South West Coast Path, Heddon Valley, Watersmeet and the East Lyn Valley paths. Any woodland routes, especially near the coast, are likely to have blocked paths and trees still in a dangerous condition.
