A Beautiful Mind was a defining film of my childhood. Fresh off Gladiator, Russell Crowe nearly won back-to-back Oscars with his outstanding performance as John Nash (Crowe ran into Denzel for Training Day). In hindsight, I’m thankful I grew up on films of such high quality.
