Amazing response from the Police tonight following a young male in our garden looking into our garden office. My husband caught it on our cctv. Dog handler attended within 5 minutes. I was in bed asleep after a few gins 🥴 Devon & Cornwall Police T/Assistant Chief Constable

Exeter Custody in the new Exeter Police Station is 1 year old today!! Just short of 4500 detainees have passed through our shiny green doors so far. The space has allowed us to work much safer during this challanging period so it was well timed! Happy Birthday Exeter Custody

Strength of #policefamily. 1 of our detention officers v young nephew’s is really poorly with cancer. Also autistic so makes treatment/hospital challenging. Other Staff put out 4 collection to buy games console to help distract. £650 in 2 wks! That should buy a few games too! 💙

We absolutely love our #custodynurses or HCPs. They are like gold dust 😍 A critical part of the team We will however be pointing out that HCPs in other custody centres bring in cake 😂

Tweet 1 of 4 Police were called to a serious firearms incident in Biddick Drive, in the Keyham area of Plymouth at around 6.10pm today [Thursday 12 August]. Officers and ambulance staff attended.

Tweet 2 of 4 There have been a number of fatalities at the scene and several other casualties are receiving treatment. A critical incident has been declared. The area has been cordoned off and police believe the situation is contained.

Tweet 3 of 4 Road closures are in place so please avoid the area. We are appealing to the public not to speculate or share pictures of the scene on social media or anywhere else.
