Do you like what you do in and for your profession? Hopefully we all do but to be as effective as one desires, at least one person feels an individual must have a healthy RESPECT for the job. Is there truly a difference? Check out: kurtwordsmith47.wixsite.com/website-4

I found this today on L’nked In. Principals, find your “irreplaceables;” tell them and treat them accordingly. Find the right balance for them so they have time to work their magic.

Referenced this book a few weeks ago. I believe in the ideas therein. The coach’s philosophy is built on 14 non-negot. prncipals. Two are: NO SHAMING ANY STUDENT EVER, ATHLETE OR NOT; NO PLAYER WILL ALLOW ANY STUDENT TO EAT ALONE! How might these ideas help your stud’s?

TIME TO COME CLEAN! After 5 decades the end is in sight; could not have been better. One can’t help but have opinions, and dos and don’ts to follow. Mine have been disguised in kurtwordsmith47.wixsite.com/website-4 Join me; argue with me; contribute and invite others if it’s at all useful.

A valiant effort so far by Intern and Mac Asst Prin Andrew Clarett who accepted the challenge to research how many eductrs have tested + for covid. So far no luck from CDC or Metro Hlth, but for some of us it is important. Classify them by gender AND prof. They track some.

HOW DO WE BRING HONOR TO OUR PROFESSION? It’s always enjoyable to sit and talk to new students. Likewise, talking to new teachers and seeing them begin their careers is fun and exciting. It’s also a great time to bring a sobering topic of conversation. kurtwordsmith47.wixsite.com/website-4

I’ve had a lot of different job titles during my career in education. However, the one I prefer and the one that gives me the greatest source of pride by far is: “TEACHER.”

Most of us know about Gen. Patton’s 3 divisions making a 90 deg turn in snow and battle to help win the Battle of the Bulge. I’m so proud of how our teachers stopped dead in their tracks; with little warning, and valiantly tried to retool and bring lessons to kids in a new way.

WE OWE IT TO OUR TEACHERS! While teach’s work hard to close the year, others’ thoughts are fixed on the new year. New teachers will soon leave their colleges pumped to begin their careers. Are we ready to help them succeed? One man’s thoughts @: kurtwordsmith47.wixsite.com/website-4

SO COOL!! Not long ago I wrote a blog, “We Owe It to Our Teachers.” One pt. was, “We must capture them and provide support for them from the moment the HR department turns them loose.” Check out FB “Nimitz Mid Sch-NEISD” to see this how a princip. owns that suggestion. How cool!
