Over the last couple of months in PSHE, our Year 9 students have been working on a charity project called ‘First Give.’ It has been a great project and the winning team will win £1000 for their chosen charity which is exciting and great for the school. Congratulations to 9D team!

We welcomed Year 5 pupils from Newington Green Primary School to our school for a special visit. They took part in an exciting and interactive science session, giving them an opportunity to explore new concepts and experience what science learning is like at secondary school.

The recent Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) expedition was a great success, with all students demonstrating commitment, resilience and teamwork throughout. Their enthusiasm, behaviour and effort were outstanding. A massive well done to each one of them.

The Year 9 winner of our spelling bee competition was Kai who won a jar of our honey and 10 golden tickets. In Year 10 the winner was Omar! Well done to everyone who took part! #spellingbee

Our headteacher and students teamed up with Hackney Council on a regeneration project of Shacklewell Green. It’s all about giving back and here at TEA, we wanted to make the space more inviting for the community.

There were plenty of fantastic sessions today for our UCAS University Drop-Down Day! Year 12 students took part in a range of workshops including moving out, the benefits of university, choosing the right degree and receiving expert advice from employers and uni ambassadors.

As a reward for students’ outstanding commitment and their highest attendance in school clubs this year, a group of dedicated students enjoyed a well-deserved trip involving bowling and pizza! It was a great celebration of their enthusiasm, reliability and positive contributions.

Year 7 and 8 Sports Day was a great success with students showing real talent, focus and enthusiasm. It was fantastic to see so many students giving their best and encouraging one another. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day run smoothly. It was a great experience!
