One night after students in the UCLA Palestine solidarity encampment were attacked by a mob and left to fend for themselves, armed police are sent in, continuing the assault. Students fighting for freedom and justice are the moral core of a university. We have failed them. Shame.

UPDATE: UC had the option to deescalate and negotiate with the protestors, but it chose instead to tear down the Palestine Solidarity Encampment using flash bang grenades and rubber bullets. Arrests have been made including of UAW 4811 members.

After pro-Palestinian students at UCLA endured hate-fueled violence from a Zionist mob trying to destroy their peaceful protest, the university enlisted 100s of militarized police officers to finish the job instead of protecting them. UCLA does not know what it just started.
