(1/16) Check out our Simon Gaudin paper tiny.cc/icuazz from the Canzio lab out in Science Magazine today on how tuning local cohesin trajectories enables differential readout of the clustered Protocadherin (Pcdh) locus across different types of neurons.

Very proud to have contributed to the #lungfish genome project! Most Lepidosiren’s chromosomes are larger than the human genome! nature.com/articles/s4158…

Loss of ETS sites in the ZRS enhancer of Shh has been linked to limb reduction in snakes. Here is another example of independent ETS site mutations in the ZRS linked to fin reduction in some lungfishes. Congrats to all authors of this tour de force study! nature.com/articles/s4158…

This is a fascinating article about the discovery of the first transcriptional activator gene. Jacob, Monod and others were skeptical of the positive control model. Of course today we know that it's much more widely used mechanism than repression. dx.doi.org/10.1534/geneti…

It is challenging to study the ability of transcription factors to engage their motifs in the cell. We tried to address this in our new study together with Marco (Marco Pregnolato), Schübeler Lab, and FMI science: cell.com/molecular-cell…
