Today in #Charleville we unveiled a plaque for the Rev. Thomas Croke (1785-1873) Born in Tralee. Co. Kerry. He was the PP of Charleville 1827-73. He is buried in the Convent Chapel in front of the alter. His remains were found accidentally during renovations in the 1950/60s.

Preservation of our #Heritage & History is important. As we remember the struggles of our past, it drives us on to a better future for all As one Chapter ends for this building in Charleville, we hope it's future will continue to play an important part in our community. #change
