I'll be presenting a poster on this work at NeurIPS Gaze Meets ML @ NeurIPS 2023 workshop on Saturday.
I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Emory Psychology to start the Translational Lab (sites.google.com/view/translati…) this fall!
We will apply computational tools to examine when and why decision-making goes awry in depression and anxiety and how to improve it
Excited to share an early output from our 'Modelling Rumination as a State-Inference Process' theory work with Yael Niv Sashank Pisupati ! Presenting this as a talk CogSci Society in Sydney - hope to see you there & in Melbs! psyarxiv.com/tfjqn full length paper to follow!👀
👋New preprint on dynamical mechanisms of psychotherapy! ➡️acplab.org/wp-content/upl… Joint work with Quentin Huys at Max Planck UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry / UCL Psychiatry. 🧵below 👇 1/10
A new Science paper found dopamine implements learning of *backward* predictions in rodents Vijay Mohan K Namboodiri. In 4 preregistered studies (n=1201), I and Eran Eldar find humans also learn these & adaptively switch their learning and planning direction 🧵(1/n) psyarxiv.com/wdbg4
Happy to share a paper from my time working with Robb Rutledge at Max Planck UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry - we found by analyzing 27,000+ participants that risk taking for losses, but not gains(!) increases with time of day. With the wonderful @matildevaghi & Ray Dolan
