I really like the players Kentucky has brought in through the portal, particularly Jayden Quaintance, Mouhamed Dioubate, and Jaland Lowe, who are all top-30 transfers at EvanMiya.com. I have their incoming transfer class ranked 2nd in the country.

I think we've 100% gotten to the point media-wide where rankings, big boards, etc are shaped more by not wanting to be the outlier/get crushed on social media than it is actual nuance or opinion. And that's a really bad thing for people who actually want insightful analysis.

Louisville has acquired more elite shooters in the transfer portal than any other team (McKneely, Conwell, and Wooley). They are the only team in the portal to get three transfers in the 95th percentile or better in 3PT Shooting skill grade at EvanMiya.com.

Cedric Coward is one of only 7 players in the portal to be in the top 15% nationally in skill projections for 3PT Shooting, 2PT Shooting, and FT Shooting at EvanMiya.com. Coward can score at an efficient clip from anywhere on the floor.

This is an awesome pickup for UCSB. Kitenge was a beast in 2024 before missing last year. Kitenge has really good grades on both sides of the ball. He's a terrific rebounder, solid shot-blocker, can score plenty, and has great advanced team impact metrics.

I’ve gotten a lot of criticism of Big Z being ranked 3rd here, so I figured I’d address it. I’d personally disagree with the model by saying that Ivisic is not that likely to be a top 3 defender in this year’s portal class. Also, his overall transfer rating falls outside the top

By far the most useful thing I put together each year. I outlined roster changes for every team in the top five leagues, plus some others -- departures, players in limbo, returnees, newcomers. Updated through this AM. Bookmark to keep up all offseason. espn.com/mens-college-b…

Dylan Darling just missed the cut on projected free throw percentage (84th percentile nationally). Being in the top 5% nationally in predicted assist rate and scoring volume is elite though.

Jai Lucas has done some great work in the transfer portal for Miami. They have the 6th best incoming transfer class right now at EvanMiya.com, #1 in the ACC. That includes 4 top-75 transfers in Tre Donaldson, Tru Washington, Malik Reneau, and Ernest Udeh.

Mid-majors are struggling more than ever to find sustainable success year-over-year. In the modern NIL era, how can these programs keep up? I conducted a study to find the best roster construction strategies for mid-majors. Here are the results ⤵️ blog.evanmiya.com/p/mid-major-ro…

The best transfers to the mid-major level have often been high-major players transferring down who were underutilized at their previous stop. You can read more from my study below.
