This Lancerbaseball team has been incredibly impressive to begin the season. A loss in the season opener, but have won 6 of 7 since. Only defeat was by a score of 8-7 to Div. 2 power Masconomet. Watch out for Lawrence baseball. They’ve made a statement to the MVC so far.

UMass Lowell transfer Cam Morris III is headed to East Tennessee State, he tells me. After three successful seasons with the River Hawks, Morris heads to the Buccaneers, coming off of a 19-13 record.

Notre Dame Cristo Rey star Sebastian Garcia announced his commitment to Monroe University via Instagram earlier this afternoon. Garcia, a Lawrence native, paved his own path at NDCR, en route to an historic 19-3 season. He was named an Eagle-Tribune All-Star, averaging 20 PPG.

Scoring nine goals yesterday afternoon in an 18-11 win over Hamilton-Wenham, Whittier Tech’s Conor Walsh became just the 6th player in Massachusetts HS lacrosse history to surpass over 300 career goals. Walsh, who will play at Rivier, has 76 goals this season through 14 games.

Greater Lawrence senior Ebe Efosa announced on his Instagram earlier today that he will be continuing his basketball career at Southern Maine CC. Efosa, who previously played three seasons at Whittier Tech, was a key member of one of the best teams in Reggie history.
