Utterly stomach-churning read... There are many well-known predators in London architecture and I just hope that this encourages more women - especially young women - to seek justice. Well done Future Architects Front for all your great work with PPLAAF >>>

I shall be boycotting the Young V&A. Their total lack of concern or even any response at all to the upset they've caused removing LGBT+ items from their museum & store is infuriating, though sadly not surprising. Fight Bigotry, fight the capitulation to hate and fascism…

Island is really taking shape on John Dalton Street, Manchester! 🐝As this intelligent post-pandemic workplace for HBD and Greater Manchester Pension Fund occupies a tight city centre site, offsite construction was ideal. Below is the visual mock up that we developed with Techrete >>>

The funniest thing about Island (see previous post) - we had a Dutch artist on the graphics, so it turned out a lot sexier than we imagined! Metres high on the hoardings at John Dalton Street Manchester 😄

Bromley Town Hall - 95% of the existing structure was retained, existing materials were salvaged and reused (from clocks and light fittings, to doors, windows and floors), and two beautiful buildings were taken off the Heritage at Risk register 💯 Click below for a building tour!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only "activism" Heatherwick has been known for is getting his public school buddies to fund a bridge across the Thames that no one needed or wanted... People are always desperate for cash, but this sponsorship somewhat diminishes the entire award.

Making a Stand by Studio Bark Michael Pinsky in Leeds City Square this year. The installation addresses wasteful supply chains, referencing the ancient Forest of Loidis that over time became Leeds as we know it. Studio Bark - one of the few truly un-hypocritical UK practices 🌿

“Donations by oil companies are transparent acts of reputation washing and any architect with the slightest pretence of social concern must refuse to become complicit.” Future Architects Front and more pledge NOT to work with the British Museum over BP ties! 🙌 architectsjournal.co.uk/news/british-m…
