We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Giuliano Berretta, former Chairman & CEO of Eutelsat, at the age of 84. A visionary & a pioneer, he played a key role in shaping the history of Eutelsat & the European space sector. Our thoughts are with his family & loved ones.

Following the recent inauguration of our new ground station in Luanda, Eutelsat has secured a definitive 15-year licence to operate our OneWeb LEO connectivity services in Angola. This achievement makes Eutelsat the first LEO operator with an operational licence in the country.
