I have to say Bluesky API absolutely puts X API to shame on so many levels. I hope at some point everyone migrates over to Bluesky because it's a far better experience overall. It's much like Twitter was before Elon Musk made it pay-to-win, pro-censorship & anti-freespeech ✅

this is a joke but funnily enough “a free, distributed key-value store” is a pretty good description of AT Protocol. add a cryptographically verifiable event stream and aggregation and you have the foundations on which you can build a full microblogging platform (or anything!)
