There is hell, and there is Ticketmaster. Got a family member at home screaming due your stupid ticketing system kicking her out of the purchase page saying that she had to login when she was just selecting her tickets a few seconds later after she was allowed to. ๐Ÿคฌ

Not sure if the SV CEO/founder community in Twitter is figuring out this one yet, but repeating that they can hire remote talent for $100K/year misses the point, saying that already gave ammo for an โ€œoverseas worker taxโ€ or additional requirements for companies to hire remotely.

I recognize that many O-1s have helped to re-shape the world with their contributions. But as a driving force of market is hardly that. All H1-Bs, TNs I have met are truly hardworking persons and very skilled that need to deliver everyday to their companies and families.

Terence Tao + AI for solving hard math problems๐Ÿคฏ In this example the insight comes from Terence, and the muscleโ€”via an hourlong conversation with GPT-5 and some python code it wroteโ€”comes from AI. "Here, the AI tool use was a significant time saver... Indeed I would have been

This is 100% on the spot what is happening. The Enterprise canโ€™t handle change. We saw this back in the early days of Cloudera and now is happening at exponential rate with AI. Kudos to Diana and Garry Tan for putting this together.

Well, I predicted this about 10 years ago but for weaponization on cyber and stills as valid today: the winner of the next cyber war will have the fastest networks and fastest GPUs ever seen. AI security agents are just the next AI cyber soldiers.

I donโ€™t like ECS, but honestly if your organization is not willing to invest absurd amounts of money until you find the sweet spot of operational capabilities and tooling, Kubernetes is not for you.
