Looking at a lot of kidlit book illustration, quite clear there is a lane full of loosey-goosey, nib-fueled Sir Quentin Blake-ish type stuff. A lot. A LOT a lot. Time to break out the nibs i guess. No time to waste-I'm old. Woohoo.

Putting together the rough cover for my pitch packet for Scholastic, I threw the #Scholastic cover branding-is that what its called?- on it. Wishful thinking I suppose... does look nice😉🤪
