We continue to work on saving Elizabeth Street Garden & building affordable housing at nearby alternative sites. There’s a lot of coordinated misinformation in the media about ESG, the community, & the development. Here’s the well-funded HPD/developer narrative vs the reality.

Grateful for another beautiful day at Elizabeth Street Garden. Housing should never come at the expense of public green space and it doesn’t have to while nearby alternative sites exist.

We welcome anyone who joins the overwhelming number of people- including +130 local seniors, P.S. students, and nearly 300 local businesses and organizations- who’ve called on the City to preserve Elizabeth Street Garden & build affordable housing at nearby alternative sites!

Yes, cities like New York need more housing badly — but they also need beautiful green spaces. Philosopher Katalin Balog makes the case for saving the Elizabeth Street Garden. vitalcitynyc.org/articles/we-ne…

While candidates for Mayor & other elected positions take a stance on Elizabeth Street Garden, make sure their positions are based on the truth & not HPD/developer narrative. All candidates have been informed about the nearby alternative sites for housing. (1/6)

Chris Marte’s march for true affordable housing & healthcare, and to end the 24hr workday for home care workers. Not sure of another council rep who has this amount of people continuously show up. While realestate-backed candidates spread lies Councilmember Christopher Marte is doing the work.
