Mental health issues are real, and we should avoid dismissing them. We live in a broken world of sin, pain, and hurt. Perhaps we struggle with accepting the presence of mental illness because it's mental?

However, these illnesses still exist. There are people that live it as their daily lives in our own very circles.
Some of the ways we even address it largely lacks empathy to the people that actually live with these illnesses.
