On this day in 2001, the first Choughs to be seen in Kernow for over 30 years were reported. The Chough is the symbol of Kernow and its return was said to herald a national revival 〓〓 In 2024, a record 55 pairs attempted breeding & 108 ‘Choughlets’ fledged Cornish Choughs 〓〓

After reading "Buried at the Crossroads " by Elizabeth Dale 〓〓 Cornish Bird I visited the Four Parishes Stone. There was an overwhelming feeling of sadness & I hope one day, a name will be known by all for this poor woman.
