I’m man enough to admit that outside of Kojeves work I don’t exactly understand Hegel. I believe that his greatness cannot be diminished but some of his lectures baffle me.

I sit back and ask what I want out of life. I have broad ideas but exactly what this means in material steps is another proposition all together. I know this, I wish to pursue some degree of virtue/duty.

I think one of the writing on the problem of induction was Deborah Mayos 3 part series on piercean error correcting induction. Clarified things like why induct at all.

Need to set aside some money for JP Mallory’s new book, there’s always something good coming out nowadays, exhilarating time to be alive to those who enjoy slowly collecting and learning knowledge.

If future humanity ever resurrects me, I will locate the nearest “galactic Bay Area” and relocate there and live my immortal life in peace.

I wonder who of my ancestors, if any, had an enjoyment for epistemology. Maybe a cult dedicated to the truth or something? I’m going back at least ten thousand years so I imagine it had to have happened at least once. Epistemology loosely I mean

I feel like we have a lot of undeveloped talent in the Bay Area, I think the people born here don’t often get their fair shot at success in the area.

People not to put some respect on Francis Bacons name his essays are just as good as Montaigne although the latter is more interesting. Just because he was an inductivist doesn’t mean we should not treat him with due respect. Rest in peace Mr. Bacon, god rest your soul.
