OpenAI's new GPT-5.1-Codex-Max (Extra-High) - more advanced Golden Gate Bridge prompt with a couple of turns of 5-7 minutes each. This is definitely the best I ever got out of this type of prompt by far.

This is bizarre. Last night, grok told me elon was better than jesus, einstein and the virgin mary (and it would kill them to save him). This morning, like someone regretting texting after the pub, it has deleted the interaction. Grok, why did you do this?

Delighted to see this: a genuinely impressive package for AI growth - the AI Opportunities Action Plan is in great shape! Particularly pleased to see the AI Sovereignty Unit taking shape, with the excellent James Wise as Chair and £100m for advanced market commitments 🚀🚀

Fulfilling the potential of AI isn’t a solo mission. 🤝 I’m proud to announce I have been named as an AI Ambassador for the UK. I look forward to collaborating with the UK government and other experts while continuing to lead frontier AI research at Google DeepMind. Being at the

Very exciting package! AI for Science strategy is super interesting to see, we have a chance in the UK to capitalise on our strengths and accelerate here, and the strategy puts excellent foundational work - especially on data - in train

Today is a great step forward in the path to delivering a vision of British AI. To secure prosperity and agency for people and our political economy, government must move with ambition, creativity and urgency. These announcements signal just this. Some more thoughts below. 🧵

ParallelLeiden in NetworKit is so damn fast. My computer can do community detection across a network of 20 million nodes and 1 billion edges in 100 seconds! This is crazy!

Matt Clifford (@matthewclifford) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This is astonishingly good. If we actually implement all this, the benefits to the UK will be enormous. John and team - thank you for your service!

This is an excellent report: - Indemnify developers against judicial review delays so they can keep building while JRs are ongoing. - Raise the Aarhus cost cap and peg it to crowdfunded amounts, and limit challenges to once instead of thrice. - Allow nuclear power stations to

This is great. The government now has a literal blueprint for getting new nuclear built and bringing down energy prices. Hopefully they can resist the urge to consult/dilute and get cracking.

We have also learned today that the 'fish disco', which I had taken to be a small but illustrative example of the madness of our environmental rules, in fact cost £700 million!! Seven times more than the bat tunnel! inews.co.uk/news/politics/…

It was a great decision to commission this review. It would be an even better one to actually implement *all* of the recommendations. This could form one of the defining legacies of this govt in driving down long term energy costs + building AI infrastructure.
