🌟 Congratulations to Anchala ERPLab@IISERB on groundbreaking research revealing how CTCF and BORIS regulate autophagy in breast cancer via alternative splicing of BNIP3L. Special thanks to MoE-STARS for their funding support. Anchala Pandey

Congratulations to Parik Kakani for identifying CTCF as a novel target of hypoxia. Hypoxia induces CTCF expression via TET2-mediated DNA demethylation and HIF1a binding, promoting EMT in breast cancer cells. Targeting the HIF1a-CTCF axis could offer new therapeutic strategies.

Finally, the wait is over. I’m excited to announce my first first-author paper from my post doc published in Cell Reports. Coauthored by Shruti Dhamdhere #Deepakpant #Rushikeshjoshi. Thanks Sanjeev Shukla and IISER Bhopal ERPLab@IISERB for your constant support. #CTCF #epigenetics

Congratulations Anchala Pandey

Congratulations, Anchala (Dr Pandey!!), on a successful PhD viva defense! So proud of you! 🙌 Wishing you all the best for the next chapter #proud mentor Anchala Pandey

Exciting work from Anchala Pandey and Jithin ERPLab@IISERB. Our latest study uncovers the SRSF9-BNIP3 axis, demonstrating how alternative splicing orchestrates both autophagy & metabolic reprogramming under hypoxia. IISER Bhopal jbc.org/article/S0021-…

Congratulations to Dr. Anchala Pandey Anchala Pandey, first author on our recent JBC paper! 🎉 She's off to a postdoc at the prestigious Wistar Institute & also received a Best PhD Thesis Award for her outstanding work at IISER Bhopal. Proud mentor!
