Congratulations to Greg Wilmot, our President & CEO, for receiving the prestigious Patrick Hughes Award for Social Justice from Project Bread at the 56th #WalkforHunger. Your commitment to combating food insecurity fuels our mission at EBNHC!
Thank you Maura Healey & Kim Driscoll! This is why I & others fought so hard to pass enhanced summer food benefits for kids. This new program will give families a little extra help over the summer when hunger is often at its worst because kids donāt have access to school meals.
1/2: Last week, Erin McAleer, CEO of Project Bread, & Sarah Cluggish, CPO, joined a roundtable hosted by Dept. of Agriculture FNS Northeast Regional Office. Engaging with Shavana Howard, Senior Advisor from USDA, we shared insights into our Flexible Services Program.
This morning in Shrewsbury I joined Hannah Kane, Jen Lemmerman of Project Bread & Jean McMurray of WorcesterCtyFoodBank for a podcast to discuss plans at the state & federal level to end hunger coming out of the White House conference. Excited to share our conversation soon!
