Absolutely, YES. Hands down, full stop, I ADORED everything about Old Luke, green milk and all. Old Luke was a BEAUTIFUL exploration of how one can find the idealist within oneself when age, pain and cynicism have beaten it down, and at 53 that’s an example that inspires me.

Okay: the film offers a viable answer to the question of corruption in the Jedi Order raised in the prequels: it doesn’t deny that corruption, but ultimately concludes that the order is still needed for the good it can do, for the inspiration it can offer, here and now.
