Preprint that I @destinydmoreno Amanda Klonsky & Sharon Dolovich have put together highlighting the disproportionate impact COVID-19 has had on Black and Latinx populations in prisons in Texas. C19 mortality rates were 50% and 100% higher than the White population respectively.
Personal update - so very sad that Friday was my last day UCLA Law Behind Bars Data Project, but thrilled that today is my first day (back) Urban Institute! Excited to keep working to make data more accessible to those fighting for a more just society.
