This May Day, we celebrate unions as the beating heart of intersectional solidarity against the Trump administration; fighting for fair wages, immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights, gender justice & racial equity. From picket lines to policy, labor leads the charge for a fairer future.

Today is the start of AAPI Heritage Month. I'm thankful for the freedoms that AAPI communities have fought for, but I'm reminded everyday that there's still work to be done. We must continue to fight until Rümeysa Öztürk and all of the students unlawfully detained are free!

It's been an honor to serve on the Aging and Independence Committee for my 3rd term so that I can advocate for bills like An Act promoting housing stability for older adults across the Commonwealth. Thank you @caas and Somerville Office of Housing Stability for testifying today!

Last week I met with Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services to discuss challenges facing older adults and people with disabilities. We discussed increased funding for at home care and how everyone, regardless of age, ability, or income, can thrive in the comfort of their homes.

This past weekend, I had the honor of attending the AANHPI Festival co-hosted by NECAA and tons of other local organizations. It was a celebration of the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of the AANHPI diverse communities across MA.
