Today is the start of AAPI Heritage Month. I'm thankful for the freedoms that AAPI communities have fought for, but I'm reminded everyday that there's still work to be done. We must continue to fight until Rümeysa Öztürk and all of the students unlawfully detained are free!

I attended the Indigenous Legislative Agenda Launch event yesterday at the State House. Thank you to everyone who put this event together and to the organizations that spoke on the impact of the Agenda's bills including speakers from North American Indian Center of Boston.

Yesterday I met with constituents from Mass Senior Action and Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services for Mass Aging Access' Older Adult Lobby Day. Last week I met with Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services to discuss challenges facing older adults and people with disabilities. We discussed increased funding for at home care and how everyone, regardless of age, ability, or income, can thrive in the comfort of their homes.
