These studies’ conclusions are obvious without needing an empirical study to back them up. Common sense confirms that if you don’t exercise a skill it atrophies. But the pull to use the tech anyway is too great. I wrote about this and students yesterday see below.

If I ever write a non-fiction book, I might write about how play fits into Christianity. You might think it doesn't. But I think of play as mental rest, and rest is certainly scriptural. But so too is 'being merry,' having lots of festivals, drinking with friends! Have fun!!

I like throwing stuff at stuff. Just, in general. It's fun. It's a good time. You can throw stuff with a friend (play catch, grab a football, whatever), you can throw stuff at other stuff, you can throw stuff just to see how far you can throw it. Throwin' stuff. Good one, that.
