Hey #winterbrain2024, get to sleep earlier tonight than you did last night so you can come to our panel tomorrow at 7:30 on preclinical models to study the effect of psychedelics on anxiety and depressive behaviors with Sixtine Fleury, Boris D Heifets, WenthurLab, and Charles Nichols
congrats to Kenneth Amaya, PhD and the whole team on this stellar work! so glad to have been a part of it. 😁 check it out:
Big news! I will be joining the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences Dartmouth Psychological and Brain Sciences this Fall! My lab will study the neural circuits and physiological states that regulate appetitive and aversive motivation.
had an amazing time meeting everyone and sharing a snippet of my dissertation work at Albert Einstein College of Medicine - Official this week! ☺️ FYI, all the folks around me in the photo below are incredibly kind and talented, so keep an eye out for them 👀
Breaking my Twitter fast to ask for your help: a graduate student, in my department (Dartmouth Psychological and Brain Sciences), Kexin Cai, has gone missing: lebanonnh.gov/CivicAlerts.as… If you are in the Hanover area and have any info about her whereabouts, please contact Lebanon Police immediately. Please RT!
woohoo so proud of the three *amazing* dartmouth women in science interns in kyle smith’s lab who presented for the first time today!! 👩🏻🔬💖
one of my most cherished & brilliant students, Daniela Garrod is graduating today! I am so lucky to have spent 3+ years doing science with her. she’ll be starting her PhD in the Brown-NIH program in the fall, and she’s 100% going to be a superstar in the coming years 🌟🧠
I was extremely fortunate to have Daniela work with me at Tufts as part of the BDBS program last summer! She’s an exceptional scientist and will be great in graduate school! Congrats Daniela Garrod on an impressive undergraduate career
