The PRIDE Study’s new paper examines the impact of parenthood on LGBTQIA+ parents’ health. They found parenthood was related to mental health: LGBTQIA+ parents were more likely to report recent depression, anxiety, & PTSD symptoms, compared to LGBTQIA+ people who were not parents.
