Since 2009, Israel has indicted its sitting prime minster, France has prosecuted and convicted two former presidents, and South Korea has prosecuted, convicted, and imprisoned two of its former presidents. All were on corruption charges. It’s not unheard of among democracies.

Dickinson was the first recommendation from this that I watched. I haven’t seen a TV/show movie about a writer work the writer’s work in so thoroughly and effectively. Also really dug the deliberate anachronisms.

Philosophy was better in the 60s-80s than it is now because in those days if you wanted to know if time travel was possible or whatever you just had to think real hard about the meanings of a few words whereas now you have to learn physics or something
