Eagle update - Roy Dennis team id the eagle on Slepe moor as "G625 he is a very special bird. He is the first Eagle to hatch and fledge successfully in a wild nest in England in over 240 years! He fledged from a nest in West Sussex in 2023" Dorset Bird Club Dorset Wildlife Trust

Stanley Spencer recorded in his 1938 Desk Diary that he began 'Magnolias,' in March of that year and on 5th April 1938, he wrote to his dealer Dudley Tooth saying that it was: 'as good as anything I have done.'
