Honey Badger King GP's operate many internal systems to identify the most vulnerable e.g.SOS lists. My GP operates a similar system and it works really well. Less phone calls into the surgery leaves space for those who need to phone.
Paul Grinnell🇬🇧🇺🇦🏴 Opportunity Pboro We've got the opposite in Werrington - erection of ugly fences around community land.
Elaine Parkin PoliticsJOE Explain to me why? Tell me , in detail, what Khan has done for London?
Supertanskiii Deeply unpopular in Peterborough but he doesn't know it because he's blocked most of his constituents.
Politics of Peterborough Blimey he's just been elected...
Strange conundrum in Werrington with someone being elected that almost every person I meet knows nothing about....
Honey Badger King I can only speak from my experience. It will take time to get through the backlog and slowly things will improve. GP should triage requests, e.g. I had referral appointment made with podiatry without a GP. Blood test can be accessed via NHS app. 1/2
Honey Badger King 3/3 PPG could help in Reception etc with education process. Daunting at first but does slowly get better. Explaining to people about the changes can be difficult because of the 'permissions' or otherwise given by patients to receive information via text, email
Honey Badger King 2/3 every phone call not coming into the surgery means telephone lines are freed up for those who need them. It's a new way of talking to your GP but from my perspective seems to work. People need help understanding new system and accessing NHS App etc.
St George's Hydrotherapy Users Honey Badger King It says on the website they are triaged. This is normally done by a GP who will refer and allocate. Works well at my surgery..
Cllr Julie Stevenson My GP has a similar system and it works quite well. Also takes the pressure off phone lines and allows other callers to get through. The Surgery will be aware of disabled and those with complex illnesses. Give it time...
Elaine Parkin Peterborough Tories spent a lot of resource trying to get the MPs wife
Resource they should have spent knocking on doors in those 11 seats they lost.
The Bristows and Fitzgerald have lost Peterborough.
Elaine Parkin But the article implies there are only emergency appointments by phone or you have to visit to fill in a form to request an appointment?
Doesn't appear to be space for those who need to use phone
