Was I the only one who found that a little insulting? Not to us, but to the characters. They mean too much to each other for this level of avoidance to still feel real. EO should be endgame AND middlegame. They were the opening move. Olivia Benson deserves more than sainthood.

I’ll never understand why Olivia Benson, after 26 seasons of giving everything to everyone, is still denied the right to be happy. Is it because she’s a woman? Because she’s the face of Special VICTIMS Unit? As if being a strong, empathetic leader means she must suffer endlessly.
