I've been teaching an RE lesson at a school in Telford today and saw this on the wall in the corridor. They clearly get it. By the way, Telford has some of the best comprehensive schools in the UK. Lots for Wales to learn from them.

Mae dau air yn Gymraeg y gellid eu defnyddio i gyfieithu 'Unionism' : sef 'Unoliaeth' ac 'Undebaeth', y cyntaf yn cyfeirio at y DU a'r ail at e.e. yr NUM. Mae'r ddau wedi bod yn hynod niweidiol i Gymru; anodd ddweud pa un fu'r gwaethaf.

A splendid article by Aris Roussinos. The UK is beyond reform (or even Reform). Farage is more likely to be the last of the Old order than the first of the New. But there's all to be gained, especially for Wales once we've shaken off our own Old order. unherd.com/2025/07/why-st…

I'm trying to find a word which would be a Welsh equivalent of Anglofuturism. In Welsh, it's easy - Cymrufyddiaeth (HT 🎗Benjamin). In English, I'm currently torn between Cymrofuturism and Cambrofuturism, but there must be something better.

This article was from 3 weeks ago. Argentina just announced an astonishing 7.6% year over year GDP growth for Q2. Every single academic prediction about Milei’s efforts to cut government spending and restrictions has turned out wrong.

bordernick Ghoti For our part, we don't believe in getting governments to build industries because they're not very good at it. Prepare sites, infrastructure and create a business-oriented environment: yes. That takes relatively little expenditure. Anything else: no, leave that to the private
