Final plenary speaker is Dr. Pulendran describing mechanisms involved in vaccine responses, notably highlighting cholesterol and microbiome effects (should I hold statin before getting my vaccine?). He’s also addressing durability of response. #AAAAI25

Many thanks to our fantastic Allergy/Immunology Fellows doing an excellent job balancing clinical work, education and research. The latter being highlighted as most fellows are currently at the AAAAI national meeting. #thankafellowday University of Wisconsin Division of APCC University of Wisconsin Department of Pediatrics University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine

Enjoyed a beautiful sunset almost 5K (someone didn’t measure correctly) run along the waterfront in San Diego supporting the AAAAI foundation. Only handful of UW AI representatives and hoping for more runners next year. University of Wisconsin Division of APCC University of Wisconsin Department of Pediatrics
