Let’s do some math. Some Govt officials said each smart school should cost ~₦1B → 22 schools = ₦22B. But Sujimoto’s contract was only ₦11.7B total and (~₦530M per school). Now with EFCC involved, the big question is: were costs inflated before, or is scope being cut now?
