Blair has issued a snow emergency starting at 6 pm Tues. and going through noon Wed. During this time, city code prohibits vehicles from being parked on streets unless snow has been cleared and has ceased to fall for at least 8 hours. Downtown does not allow parking from 2-5 am

Organizers in Ft Calhoun submitted a petition seeking a special election on the topic of the Omaha Police Department wanting to lease space in Fort Calhoun for an outdoor gun range. They also have submitted paperwork to begin a recall effort of Ft Calhoun Mayor Mitch Robinson.
