So proud to announce that I have been elected one of the new Editors of Millennium Journal along with the amazingly talented Eva Leth Sørensen and #ShreyaBhattacharya. I’ll be learning so much from them! Such an honour to co-lead this historic journal and foster IR critical theory!

#PhDone! Thanks to my amazing supervisors enginisin and Rachel Humphris for the incredible support during these 3 years. And thanks to my brilliant examiners Vicki Squire and Nivi Manchanda for making the viva such an enjoyable experience!

👥We need to talk about positionality and intercorporeality... 🧐Enrike van Wingerden offers critical insights for researchers on being there, being moved, and being vulnerable in doing research. Do not forget to be inspired by her #openaccess article🤗 academic.oup.com/ips/article/16…

For those interested in migration/border studies, colonialism and racial capitalism, I will be talking next week about the intimacies between dispossession and border security in Europe at Royal Holloway. I will have the privilege of having Prof Vicki Squire as a discussant.

End of an era! Last week I successfully defended my PhD thesis without corrections. It was such a magical day, having my supervisor George Lawson there from Australia, my friends and partner from the Netherlands, and Milja Kurki and Olaf Corry as my kind and brilliant examiners!

A real privilege to examine Enrike van Wingerden s fabulous PhD thesis "Catastrophic Comparisons", with the esteemed @klurki_m, observed by happy supervisor George Lawson at LSE the other week. Looking forward to reading your next work Enrike!

So happy to see that our Millennium Special Issue is out🎉 The issue marks Millennium's 50th anniversary and can be broadly seen as an attempt to (re)politicise the 'international' in theory and in praxis. As always, it was a pleasure working with Shruti Balaji and Olivia Nantermoz!

So... here's the first step, in Enrike van Wingerden and my efforts to build a research programme on the politics of outer space.. there's an easy video abstract for my lazy pals :) The terrestrial trap: International Relations beyond Earth | RIS | bit.ly/4bc0Nqc

🎉 Vol 50(3) is out!🎉 "Global Politics: The Next Fifty Years" looks back at the discipline and forward at what is to come. Articles from: Luise Bendfeldt Fiona B. Adamson Enze Han Prof Claudia Aradau C. B. Tansel Lisa Tilley & many more! 📚Read Here ➡️ buff.ly/4dxiba8

Memories are constantly invoked in global politics. What is at stake? Do consider sending your abstracts to partake and shape the conversation at Millennium Journal's upcoming annual Symposium! Global South scholars are encouraged to apply 🍀🌀👇🏽

🚨NEW ARTICLE ALERT🚨 NEW RIS article from Enrike van Wingerden + Darshan Vigneswaran! 'The terrestrial trap: International Relations beyond Earth' Enrike and Darshan discuss how IR theory considers outer space Watch the #video abstract: doi.org/10.1017/S02602… Astropolitics
