A double century for Dion Myers at OH. Good players like him & Antum Naqvi will naturally feast in this mediocre first-class competition. Coz they've faced far better overseas, in leagues way below first-class status.

Zimbabwe Cricket has started to restructure it's coaching by appointing development stalwart Stephen Mangongo as head coach of a Zim Under-25 side to undertake a rigorous training & playing programme over next few years. New senior team coach & his full staff to be named soon.

Captured this scenery Saturday on way to rural Hauna, Honde Valley, on border with Mozambique. The vegetation here seems to be different from the aridity obtaining in most parts of Zim. Interesting also is the daily document-free movement of local folk between the 2 counties.

Former Zimbabwe batsman Dion Ebrahim offered assistant coach role for the Chevrons. Ex-Proteas batting coach Justin Sammons now front-runner for head coach. Official announcement expected this week, ahead of India's tour for five T20Is.

A bit uneasy to listen to this distressing but inspiring story of a courageous young man. Thanks for sharing this, Bidho. Bests in your new adventure.

One change for Zimbabwe's Africa Cup semi-final showdown with Namibia tomorrow. Dylan Utete comes in at open-side flank to replace Brian Nyaude, who drops out of the match-day 23.

Congrats to Zimbabwe Football Association for qualifying, but not with the freedom & flair fans desired. Nearly all opponents during the campaign have been more confident & first to the ball. Lots of homework for Michael Nees.
