At the last London Continuous Delivery meetup group we played Enemy Defender - a fun way to experience the true nature of complexity in organisations, as well as surfacing defensive routines and unspoken forces that affect team dynamics. youtu.be/7OIqJn3OXxs

Control Tower 0.9.0 is out, which deploys Concourse 5.8.0! All AWS Control Tower uses MUST upgrade to this before February 5th 2020, as AWS are rolling their RDS CA cert. Just run Control Tower's self-update pipeline and you should be fine. github.com/EngineerBetter…

With a mix of anxiety, pride, gratitude and optimism I'm saying goodbye to my friends at EngineerBetter, to explore new ideas and work closer to home. The last 4 years has been incredible; thanks to everyone who helped make it so rewarding. engineerbetter.com/blog/farewell-…

"The work we did with you has paid us massive dividends with the remote working process. We as a team are really grateful for that." Lockdown-related quote from folks at @Unit2Games, who EngineerBetter remote mob-programmed with last year, looking at Concourse CI & #Kubernetes.

Ever been frustrated by "max containers reached" in Concourse CI? @AndyPaine wrote up the two things you need to do to increase the limit. engineerbetter.com/blog/increasin… He also explains why the limit is there, and also how many containers we could start before things fell over.

Not only can you deploy Concourse CI on AWS or GCP with a single command using Control Tower, but now you can install Control Tower with a single command thanks to Homebrew! github.com/EngineerBetter…
